GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director, Home and Community Care and primarily based out of 688 Coxwell with travel to other Agency sites as needed, TNG is currently seeking an Alayacare Support Supervisor.

The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing support of the Alayacare system within the Independent Living (IL) Department.

The position provides essential services, and therefore may be occasionally required to report to work during emergencies such as storms, power outages, or transit strikes, and beyond regular working hours.

This position supports the billing and payroll functions of the PSS program as well.


MAJOR DUTIES:


  • Primary Alayacare support for the Independent Living (IL) program
  • Onboard new programs to Alayacare as needed
  • Provide/coordinate Alayacare training for all IL program staff
  • Be aware of, and provide updates of all relevant Alayacare builds
  • Maintain accurate funder, fees, and payroll functions in Alayacare
  • Provide phone and tech support for the Community PSWs and Case Workers
  • Manage phone distribution and phone replacement
  • Develop and maintain work flow manuals for Alayacare processes
  • Provide support for RFPs as needed
  • Provide regular statistical reports to Managers/Directors/VP as needed
  • Support submission of APR's to funders
  • Onsite support to Client Care Coordinators as needed
  • Provide backup support to billing and payroll processes
  • Audit Alayacare employee and client files as necessary
  • Support Accreditation processes as required
  • Lead Alayacare working groups as necessary
  • Participate in larger Alayacare Community Support Services working groups
  • Liaise with Alayacare support to resolve issues in the database
  • Liaise with TNG IT to resolve issues
  • Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Social Services or Community Health Services from a recognized educational institution, or equivalent experience
  • Proven expertise with the Alayacare Integrations databases, including creating reports, troubleshooting, scheduling and data entry. Familiarity with CIMS, Novus (Trapeze), HPG/CHRIS is an asset.
  • Supervision in a unionized environment an asset
  • Experience and knowledge of issues affecting the homeless, marginally housed populations, seniors, chronically ill, and low
- income adults, and the implementation of non-discriminatory policies

  • Thorough knowledge of local program and service resources
  • Training and experience with MS Office programs (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel), Zoom, MS Teams
  • Proven strength in interpersonal communication; both written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated selfstarter with experience and commitment to a team approach in the workplace
  • Knowledge or experience with RAI CHA and Inter RAI assessment tools would be an asset
