Your Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance to Project Managers and Intermediate/Senior Structural Engineers in the design/analysis of new builds, renovations/expansions, and rehabilitation projects from the conceptual stage through to construction administration.
Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications, assistance with the execution of condition inspections and technical report preparation.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Demonstrated skill at organizing and planning work within tight deadlines.
Detailed attention to requirements and ensuring quality work.
Demonstrates sound judgment and common sense at work.
The ability to work independently and maintain productivity unsupervised.
The discipline to maintain required safe work procedures in any environment.
Experienced at working well in a team environment.
Strong English verbal and writing skills are required.
French language skills are considered an asset.
Ability to travel within Canada may be required.
Current Driver's license is required.
A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
Familiar with the National and Ontario Building Codes, CAN/CSA S16, A23.3, 086, S136, AISC and other design guides.
A working knowledge of Structural Engineering Analysis/Design Software such as: ETABS, SAP, S-Frame, SAFE and WoodWorks is beneficial.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering course work.
