Various positions are open across our locations in South-Western Ontario.

The Opportunity
The main responsibilities for Manager-in-Training include team building, building strong relationships with customers and employees, managing product and inventory, and assisting with recruiting and training.
This position is a part of the leadership team in the store and works closely with the Store Manager.Responsibilities:
- Support the mission, vision and values of the company by providing strong leadership
- Travel to multiple store location across South-Western Ontario to support Managers as needed
- Demonstrate leadership that reflects the development of a workplace culture where people feel valued, capable and competent to do their job well and want to stay with the company
- Support the store manager(s) efforts to maximize results within your assigned store location, learn from your team members, and help to ensure the best possible experience for each customer
- Support store manager(s) performance management initiatives
- Partner and support store leaders with inventory management and shrink
- Monitor inventory levelspartnering with buyers, working with other branches for transfers
- Perform cycle counts, confirm accuracy of product on hand, minimize negative on hand
- Participate in training experiences, learn new skills and demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise with managerial responsibilities.
- Take part in employee related functions including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, performance appraisal and the administration of human resources policies and initiatives
- Demonstrate "distinct customer service" at all times
- Participate regularly in professional development and/or training provided through the company
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Retail industry work experience
- Proven excellent customer service skills
- Management and leadership experience is an asset
- Selfmotivated and willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Experience with operating BisTrack and Microsoft Office is an asset
- Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential
Compensation:
- Competitive annual salary starting at $41,000
- Health Care Benefits after 90 day and Pension after 1 year of service
- Company provided boot allowance (After 90 day probation period)
