MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee daily operations of dispatch office
Managing business relationships between Kim Tam, Samuel and outside customers
Active participant within Kim Tam's management team
Dispatching and coordination/scheduling of trucks on a J.I.T. delivery schedule & in compliance with government regulations, company standards, and customer expectations
Check Daily shipping plan to build loads
Appropriate billing for above duties
Ensure System Integrity (Truckmate, AS400, Outside Customer portals (ex: Dofasco)
Support & Communicate with the Sales Group to meet special customer requirements and ontime deliveries
Assist Rates group when requested (ex: carrier quotes, sales quotes)
Provide system training for all new and current office employees
Responsible for sourcing carriers & freight to match business needs
Active participation in ongoing business development
Other related duties as assigned

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB (Computer, Programs, Hand Tools, Crane):
Computer using the following software (MS Word, Excel), TMW Systems, AS400, D365

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, experience, certifications, licences or special skills):
Dispatch experience, J.I.T. experience an asset, experience working with the Truckmate system an asset, ability to work under pressure, meet deadline and work effectively both independently and as a member of the team
