This position is open to all qualified applicants commencing February 14, 2023 and closing at 11:59pm on February 22, 2023.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant (EA) for the CEO is a vital role that has variety of highly critical responsibilities that range from administrative functions to strategic support involving various levels of the leadership team including the Board of Governors.
Represent the CEO and Board in a professional and confident manner, in both written and verbal communications, internally and externally.
Acts as an ambassador by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create positive relationships. Work collaboratively with other support teams in Corporate Office and to ensure a coordinated coverage for the team.Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Executive or Office Administration Program, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience performing similar duties in a corporate environment, directly supporting a highlevel executive;
- Minimum 5 years of administrative experience in a professional, customer service driven and fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication with effective decisionmaking ability;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all issues with diplomacy conciliation and discretion;
- Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously based on comparative importance and priority;
- Ability to be flexible and innovative in a fast paced, growthoriented environment;
- Advancedlevel knowledge of common industry software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as other tech and web skills, with the desire and ability to learn new concepts quickly (Tested);
- Ability to type 60 wpm (tested);
- Working knowledge of SAP is an asset;
- Selfmotivated and able to work with mínimal supervision;
- Proven ability to assess inquiries and problems and to exercise good judgement in taking appropriate action;
- Demonstrated problemsolving skills in dealing with operational and management issues ;
- Ability to foster good public relations and build effective working relationships while working collaboratively in a team environment;
- Ability to work well under pressure and use excellent judgment in assessing difficult situations;
- Comprehensive knowledge of health care organization office practices, procedures and standards are an asset;
- Ability to produce high quality work in accordance with Hospital standards;

- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety and participation in regular inservice education in this area; and
