The Ottawa Humane Society has been a leader in animal welfare since 1888.

We're currently looking for passionate and results oriented Full Time Chief Development Officer to lead our team in building a caring community and fostering support for Ottawa's homeless animals.

Schedule:

75 hours bi-weekly

May be required to work occasional evening, holiday and weekend shifts

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Post-secondary school diploma or certificate in a related field
CFRE designation is an asset
10 years of fundraising, development or advancement experience
Demonstrated excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
Demonstrated excellent customer service, crisis management and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills
Experience with Raiser's Edge database or similar CRM database is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Specialized professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
