We are currently hiring outstanding, experienced and motivated
Security Professionals holding an
OFA2 certification for our high restricted site
- Vancouver Public Library in Downtown.

Job Duties include, but are not restricted to:

Provision of excellence in customer service
Access Control
Patrolling
CCTV Monitoring
OFA2 First Aid
Communications, including radio, digital and incident escalations
Incident and activity reporting
Identifying and reporting safety hazards
Crime prevention
Visual deterrence
Emergency Services liaison
Dealing with severe / escalated situations
Demonstrate empathy when handling situations involving Vancouver's most vulnerable populations

Certification Requirements:

-
BC Security License (BST)
-
Occupational First Aid Level
2 (OFA2)

Experience Requirements:

-
Minimum of 2 years of Security Industry Experience:

Minimum of 1 year Customer Service Experience

What would you bring:

Valid BC Security License
High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable, available, independent nature, of sound character and a team player
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skill
Ability to work in a fastpaced customeroriented environment
Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills
Professional demeanor in stressful situations

Ability to commute:

Must have reliable transportation to downtown Vancouver
