We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our team at Stinson Equipment.

Stinson is a full-service, traffic management and traffic safety company with three locations (Concord, Woodbridge, Gormley) in Ontario and has long been considered by those in the industry to be Ontario's leader for traffic safety products and services.

Over the past 60 years we have been proudly providing quality traffic management solutions to Ontario's municipalities, construction, industrial, private, and public sectors.

Please note that this is an in-office position, not a hybrid role.

You have:

Forklift license & experience
Ability to lift 70lbs. and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150lbs with appropriate equipment
Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to work independently
Ability to take initiative to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
Fluent English (verbal and written)
Must be able to do physical Labour

As a Shipper/Receiver you will:

Receiving all products from vendors as they are delivered, including the verification of the number of items received as well as assuring that it is the correct product ordered.
Inventory management, safeguarding, and control for all operating companies.
Managing client and vendor returns.
In charge of warehousing activities, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Picking and shipping all orders that are to be completed and shipped from the warehouse daily.
Ensure that the standards are met as it pertains to proper inspection, packaging of products received and shipped.
Entering orders received and shipped in the Business System.
Tracking shipments and sending out confirmation of tracking numbers to customers.
Ensuring product that requires storage is placed in the appropriate area, including placing any product that is for stock onto the shelves in the proper locations.
Loading and unloading trucks in adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Participating in ESA/CSA inspection booking.
Participating in cycle/physical counts as required.
Undertake efficiency measures and special projects as required
Other duties as required.
