We are now looking for an experienced Service Centre Manager to join our Cambridge Service Centre team:

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the entire operations of our Cambridge Service Centre and will effectively manage employees to ensure that they are performing duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Perform duties in accordance with the Corporate Standards of Business Conduct
Evaluate different alternatives and utilize his/her discretion to make independent decisions regarding your area of responsibility
Set goals and objectives that can be measured
Ability to recognize, reward and reinforce good performance
Ability to coach and instruct employees to help improve their work performance and self esteem

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in Transportation
Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset
Experience with interline partner relationships
Listening, leadership and teamwork skills
Analytical and problemsolving skills
Selfmotivated and a desire to continually improve
Energetic, creative thinker with a competitive desire to continually meet goals and exceed expectations
