COURSE CONTENT:

Know how to observe, analyze observed behaviors according to the stages of a child's overall development between the ages of 2 and 12;
Determine the behaviors and skills to develop according to the child's age;
Basic knowledge of developmental problems of children from 2 to 12 years old;
Relevance of parent consultations;
Methods to identify and categorize different behaviors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan class sessions;
Deliver sessions in a dynamic, effective and structured manner;
Design formative and summative evaluations according to the competencybased approach;
Administer and correct the evaluations;
Followup on each student and encourage success;
Be available to students in order to promote their development of the competency targeted by the course;
All other related tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet one of the following criteria
Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college degree, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full semester within the last five (5) years;
Have practiced a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
