Description
Placing weekly orders with different suppliers in Canada and the US

  • Ensuring submitted orders are accurate and align with operational requirements
  • Communication with all supplier representatives
  • Regarding late/changing delivery dates due to holidays, credits, upholding quality standards, changing pricing, Sysco contract pricing, changes to ingredients (changing item codes)
  • Kitchen dishware orders
  • Keeping track of supplier contracts
  • Tracking food costs using Excel
  • Tracking family events and curriculum activities, ensuring the required food is ordered on time
  • Ensuring kitchens and chefs have all the materials they need to function effectively
  • Perform data analysis in support of department and stakeholder objectives
  • Weekly creation of allergy labels using mail merge and Excel
  • Ad hoc requests required from time to time

Position Requirements:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Comfortable with executing repetitive tasks
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines
  • Experience with food distribution operations preferred
