Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):
- Job Duties
Job Duties - 1. To provide instruction and to facilitate interactive practical experiences for students in the Early Childhood Education diploma program.
- Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies in support of a blended learning experience.
- Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students on the required learning platform (Bright Space).
- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
- Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment.
- Maintain and up-date curriculum materials.
- Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements.
- Develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, and as required, set up and supervise students in a practical work placement.
- Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
- Attend program and school meetings.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- 1. Recognized relevant fouryear degree (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies, Bachelor's in Child Development).
- Two years' recent and relevant experience working in an Early Learning and Childcare Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher/ECE Instructor.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written).
- Effective instructional ability.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
- Demonstrates Valuing Diversity.**Desired QSA
