Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager, Strategic Initiatives and Analysis provides strategic support for International Banking Portfolio Management Office (IB PMO) function in International Banking Finance.
The incumbent is responsible for contributing to the goals, governance and execution of strategic initiatives in the IB Portfolio being delivered in support of the Bank's business strategies and objectives.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will provide:
- Business Support by:
- Analyzing data: Dive into the financial datasets to extract valuable insights. Understand trends, execution against the Plan, and identify potential risks.
- Conducting review, analysis and facilitate coordination of the Post-Implementation Review process.
- Conducting review, analysis, and execution of Project Change Requests (Financial and Non-Financial)
- Performing initial reviews of Business Case tools ensuring completeness of the requirements and alignment with the policy
- Collaborating with IB PMO Team and other relevant stakeholders to support the planning cycle including Profit planning for IB Strategy and Head Office budget & allocations.
- Operational Support through:
- Support in the development and maintenance of visual interactive dashboards in Power BI and reports for key Stakeholders.
- Collaboration with all IB PMO team to gather strategic agenda and validate data for monthly IB Executive Committees and Resource Allocations Committees (IB RAC & C-RAC).
- Preparing executive presentations and minutes
- Management and maintenance of existing trackers ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Regularly validating data inputs and identify discrepancies.
- Organization and maintaining the archiving documents of relevant artifacts for IB Portfolio
- Setting up project in CA PPM once they are approved by the Committee and working closely with PMs to ensure seamless project initiation and alignment with the Bank standards.
- IB PMO communications to our key stakeholders
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Excel, Power Point and ThinkCell (Advanced or Expert Proficiency)
- Power BI (Working Knowlegde)
- Project governance, strong experience in Banking or prior consulting experience
- Deep analysis with large datasets and data visualization
- Statistical, analytical and presentation skills (creation and delivery)
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
- Confluence and CA-PPM is considered strong assets
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong attention to detail
