Site:
Hogarth Riverview Manor

Shifts:
Days/Evenings including weekends (8 hour rotation)

Rate of Pay:
$ $27.76 per hour

Qualifications:

Current Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized college program
Demonstrated knowledge and skill working with individuals with various types of dementia, delirium, and mental health issues
Certification relevant to practice setting (i.e. Gerontology, Dementia, Palliative Care), including training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) and U-First is an asset
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is an asset
Demonstrated familiarity with the Long-Term Care Homes Act and Regulations is an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as critical thinking and problemsolving abilities relative to the situation and scope of practice
Demonstrated commitment to client centered care
Ability to work as part of a team and also independently, with mínimal supervision
Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
