Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.


Please note:

Occasional travel may be required to support regional advisor roadshows, educational events, internal sales team meetings and other national events.

Equitable Life is growing We are looking for a passionate, driven, and energetic National Sales Coordinator to join our Individual Insurance sales team

This is a newly created role that will play an integral part of our sales team's success The role will work closely with our sales team to plan and organize sales events, while being the go-to person for administrative and marketing support

What you will be doing:


  • Assist in planning and organizing regional advisor roadshows, educational events, internal sales team meetings and other national events.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Source and book venue and speakers (as applicable)
  • Create, distribute and manage invitations and marketing materials
  • Plan and organize catering and meal requirements, including entertainment activities and/or dinner events (as applicable)
  • Act as onsite coordinator at events and be point of contact for questions, issues, last minute requests
  • Ensure invoices are processed to ensure prompt payment to vendor(s)
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Distribution, Individual Insurance, and sales leaders with tasks such as:
  • Expense submissions
  • Travel arrangements
  • Presentation creation
  • Support the sales team with:
  • Documenting, updating and coordinating the onboarding process for new sales team members
  • Creating and maintaining the national sales calendar
  • Regional targeted communications, marketing materials, and distribution lists
  • Ad hoc reporting as requested by sales leaders and team members
  • Projects and/or new initiatives

What you will bring:


  • 3 or more years work experience in the financial services industry with administrative, client service, marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to extract and manipulate data required
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills
  • Proactive ideas on improvements that can create efficiencies in process and expense management
  • Adaptability and flexibility when dealing with changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, show initiative, and anticipate needs in a proactive manner
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow up
  • Knowledge of the life insurance industry is an asset
  • Familiarity and/or previous use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is an asset
