PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CASUAL POSITION

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsible for the rental, return reprocessing, and preparation of equipment for Bayshore clients.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning/decontamination, inspecting, testing of client used infusion pumps and Accessories and quality assurance checks such as functionality and cleanliness
Demonstrated working knowledge of Infection Control and principles of Asepsis Maintains computer system records of all client equipment locations, usages, maintenance, repairs, and returns, etc.
Conducts reprocessing of client equipment according to policy to ensure all client equipment is cleaned, safe, and ready for client use.
Receives and handles returned client equipment and medical waste in accordance with infection control standards and policies.
Processes medical waste as returned independently or with equipment
Experience in functioning within a team concept with good interpersonal skills

Job Qualification

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Training as a Bio technician, training in client equipment reprocessing and infection control.
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to organize workload for efficient use of time. Ability to function independently.
