PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CASUAL POSITION
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Responsible for the rental, return reprocessing, and preparation of equipment for Bayshore clients.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning/decontamination, inspecting, testing of client used infusion pumps and Accessories and quality assurance checks such as functionality and cleanliness
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Infection Control and principles of Asepsis Maintains computer system records of all client equipment locations, usages, maintenance, repairs, and returns, etc.
- Conducts reprocessing of client equipment according to policy to ensure all client equipment is cleaned, safe, and ready for client use.
- Receives and handles returned client equipment and medical waste in accordance with infection control standards and policies.
- Processes medical waste as returned independently or with equipment
- Experience in functioning within a team concept with good interpersonal skills

Job Qualification
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training as a Bio technician, training in client equipment reprocessing and infection control.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to organize workload for efficient use of time. Ability to function independently.
