UAP's Strategy & Growth team is a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive group responsible for maximizing value through optimization, growth, and transformation, empowering the organization to think innovatively and differently through trusted strategic advisory and partnership.

This team's scope is for all Canadian banners, including NAPA Auto Parts, CMAX, Altrom/Auto-Camping, Traction, TW, Cadel and Master Sourcing.

Strategic Analytics Initiatives (60%)_**- Conduct in-depth analyses of multi-faceted sources across all divisions, business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for performance improvements.

Develop complex and advanced analytics to support business transformation and UAP strategic objectives and provide recommendations and action plans based on findings.
Strategically analyze business results and summarize findings to improve understanding of UAP's performance and areas for optimization, growth, and transformation. Develop forecasting and planning models for performance metrics and results.
Proactively identify and interpret business needs, identify opportunities that enhance decisionmaking across all levels of the organization, and respond with business analytics.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively providing results and value.
Support adhoc analytics and business inquiries as needed.

_ Business Intelligence (BI) Analysis (40%)_

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, analytics and metrics needs, and develop initial scoping requirements/design of Power BI dashboards. Anticipate future and ongoing business needs, and continuously improve analytics to support this.
Scope performance metrics, data sources, security requirements and reporting needs. Work collaboratively with the IT
Business Intelligence team to develop and implement.

Qualifications

Postsecondary education in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline/field; Business Intelligence certifications would be an asset.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on strategic enterprise analysis and business transformation projects.
Ability to conduct complex and advanced analyses such as statistical correlations, regression analysis, AI/machine learning, etc.
Capability to create analytics by presenting data visually to support business decision making and understanding.
Proficiency and working experience in Power BI and/or Alteryx.
Ability to communicate in both English and French, written and spoken, as you will be working with colleagues across Canada.
