Precision Concepts Canada - PPC division is seeking an
Assembly Technician to join our team for our
Afternoon Shift. Precision Concepts is a leading plastic manufacturer providing products you experience in your daily life. We pride ourselves on the quality of our people, flexibility in production, innovation, and new product development.

The Job:
The applicant will be responsible for all production line maintenance, including product quality control, line setup and repair.

The role will include interpreting mechanical drawings, pneumatic schematics, mechanical assembly of machine components, machine changeovers, start-up, testing and adjusting.

Some limited machining of components for machine improvements and repair.

Qualifications:

College diploma or certificate in mechanical technology, toolmaking, or machining, completed apprenticeship or equivalent preferred.
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues, report, repair and/or correct the issues with mínimal supervision.
Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic schematics.
Familiar with basic hand tools.
Familiar with machine shop equipment (lathe / mill / surface grinder).
Team player can work independently.
Forklift License preferred
Good interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
