LOCALE Aurora is seeking to find a guest centric Floor Manager to join our management teamWho are we?
LOCALE is the neighbourhood gathering place that serves quality focused Italian inspired dishes, handcrafted cocktails, and most importantly experiences to our guests.
Our focus is to provide our guests with the best tasting dishes curated by our Chef lead kitchen and the most memorable dining.

You are a person that enjoys providing guidance in clear manner, your view of success is when your team is growing, you think outside the box when presented with situations.
Your Jobs Duties:
- Working the floor; interacting with guests, assisting staff when needed to ensure guests are enjoying their dining experience
- Educating the team on new additions, changes, removals
- Conducting preshift briefing with the team; informing of special requests, regular, & VIP guests
- Confirming flow of service prior to opening; planing shift execution with the hosts
- Ensuring the restaurant is exceeding standards before doors open
- Monitoring stock levels for liquor, beer, wine, and service essentials
- Remedying guest concerns and complaints in professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining proper staffing levels, adjusting to business levels
- Enforcing grooming and uniform requirements
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order, reporting defects for remedy
- Performing opening and closing duties
- Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Your Need to Have:

- 35 years of Hospitality experience, working as a manager, supervisor, lead server/bartender in a high volume venue
- Demonstrated ability to guide and lead a team
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, practices, and techniques
- Exceptional objection handling and conflict resolution
- Comprehensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Knowledge using POS, RMS, Excel/Sheets
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- SmartServe Certification
Your Nice to Have:

- Extensive wine knowledge and/or WSET certification
- Previous experience in liquor inventory control
- Mixology, development of cocktail menus
- Creation of policies and operating procedures
- Previous experience in conducting interview and hiring
