Compensation Range

$4, $6,754.00 CAD Monthly

In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job.

Associate Recruiter plans, coordinates and implements a variety of effective and innovative recruiting and advising services, programs and activities to prospective students in a variety of settings.

Organizational Status

Reports to the Senior Manager, Recruitment.

Works closely and collaboratively with other members of the RHL recruitment and admissions management team as well as other employees in the unit, UBC Sauder and within the University to meet the goals and objectives of the Robert H.

Lee Graduate School.

Work Performed- Develops, plans and executes strategic special events; organizes and executes activities related to the success of recruitment fairs and events domestically and overseas. Prepares and occasionally delivers presentations to small and large audiences of prospective students to support recruitment events and fairs, domestically and overseas. In consultation with the Senior Manager, Recruitment evaluates the outcomes of various recruiting activities, collaborates with Managers/Recruiters to prepare post-trip reports in a timely manner and makes recommendations for changes and improvements. Provides students seeking admission to UBC Sauder programs with preliminary evaluation of their admissibility to the program through 1:1 virtual and in-person meetings.- Participates in interactive on-line chat, webinars and other types of virtual meetings with domestic and international prospective students to promote UBC Sauder graduate programs.- Responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of the student and alumni ambassador programs, under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Recruitment.- Uses CRM system to plan recruitment initiatives, record data obtained from Managers/Recruiters during recruitment trips and events, run reports and communicate with prospects and applicants. Contributes directly to the development of unit's policies and priorities.- Develops and enhances relations with faculty and employees in numerous campus departments and within UBC Sauder.- Assumes responsibility for special projects assigned by the Assistant Dean, Robert H. Lee Graduate School, Director, Recruitment and Admissions and other senior management team members in RHL and
