About You

You are an experienced development professional with - 4 years of work experience and post-secondary education in a related field.

You have exceptional organization skills, are a self-starter and recognize the need to maintain high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Investments, in this role you will work closely with the development managers and play a key role in the development of multiple concurrent development projects.

Your skills as a team player and a strong collaborator will be key to carrying out job tasks which include:

Working with the development manager on project planning and approvals, attending council meetings and community engagement.
Collaborating on consultant engagement, designing and executing requests for proposals, and overseeing and tracking consultant billing.
Working with development and finance teams to ensure project proformas are set up and updated on a regular basis, with a particular focus on consultant budgets, municipal fees and deposits, offsite costs, site works, and other nonfinance items not included in base construction costs.
Projecting major development costs (permit and deposit fees), and managing the payment and release of deposits.
