About ADM

About the Position

Operations - For those employees who work on the manufacturing side of the business and are directly involved in producing the final product.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dump and load trucks and railcars
  • Operate a grain dryer
  • Assist with grain handling including shipping and receiving of grain commodities, grading procedures & bin cleanout procedures
  • General housekeeping duties
  • General maintenance, as needed
  • All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
  • Computer literacy is a bonus
  • Proactive and results oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed

Education or Work Experience

  • High school education or equivalent

Additional Information

  • History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
  • Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
  • Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 55 lbs
  • Willing to work overtime, shiftwork and weekends, if needed
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
