The Opportunity
InterRent is looking for an IT Support Specialist on a full-time basis to join its Oakville team.

You will be part of a team responsible for providing support to end-users with problem reporting, identification, resolution and working in a fast-paced environment in constant evolution.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing onsite support at all Southwestern Ontario Communities;
Setting up new PC/MAC workstations, printers and other peripherals;
Troubleshooting PC/MAC hardware and operating system software in a corporate environment;
Troubleshooting low voltage equipment such as Access Control, Intercom and DVR systems;
Troubleshooting all support calls from a ticket queue submitted by endusers;
Support of wireless telecom devices including user support, hardware provisioning (IOS, Android);
Creating documentation and/or revising training manuals;
Maintaining asset tracking;
Assisting with projects as required;
Repairing and/or coordinating repair of hardware devices.

Qualifications:

Excellent fundamental IT technical skills and knowledge
Fluent in French and English
Minimum of 3 years of work experience
Diploma or degree in IT related field
Experience with all variations of Windows, MAC and Mobile
Thorough understanding of IP networking
Great people skills and customer service skills orientation
Able to handle rapidly changing priorities and fastpaced environment
Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
Excellent research skills

Good to have:

Experience with Cloud Computing concepts
Microsoft or other industry recognized training and/or certification (e.g. A+)

Additional Information

You will be required to travel around communities in Southwestern Ontario for onsite troubleshooting. Mileage Reimbursed.
Corporate hours are 8:30am5pm and you will be required to participate in our emergency oncall rotation.
