Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Analyst (Term) will be a member of the Accounts Payable Team and provide efficient and effective support within the Accounts Payable Department.


This position is based in the Winnipeg, MB office and it will be an 18-month term with a possibility of an extension.


What You Will Be Working On- Review and analyze invoices entered by the Districts.- Review and edit employee expenses for proper approvals, coding, and tax calculations in our expense management system Concur.- Enter and audit employee expense reports in Viewpoint Accounting Software.- Enter payroll related invoices and create EFT and Cheque payment batches.- Provide continuous training and support to the Accounts Payable teams in the Districts.- Assist the Districts/Management/IT with accounts payable inquiries.- Maintain the Company's values by keeping information confidential.- Provide superior customer service.- Ad hoc projects as requested by the Supervisor.

What We Are Looking For- High School Diploma required- Enrollment or completion of post-secondary in a related field would be considered an asset- Relevant work experience of at least 2+ years in Accounts Payable- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment- Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive and creative- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups- Strong written and oral communication skills- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
