Description
Millcraft Woodworks is seeking a project estimator to prepare estimates for architectural and commercial millwork projects.

Work Description

  • Estimating: Calculate accurate material, labour, delivery and installation costing (quantity takeoffs)
  • Read and interpreted blueprints and project specifications
  • Drafting: Prepare detailed shop drawings, material and door schedules.
  • Engineering: Utilize Cabinet vision to produce screen to machine code for CNC optimization
Qualifications/ Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years work experience in a commercial millwork shop
  • Permanent, Full time
  • Able to read and interpreted blue prints and drawings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (word and Excel)
  • Basic AutoCad knowledge
  • Cabinet vision knowledge (asset)

Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
