MAJOR DUTIES:


Sales Account Manager is responsible for promoting ATS automation solutions with a unique value proposition, selling the company's manufacturing solutions, positioning ATS as the leading and premier automation, integration and manufacturing company, helping to achieve positive recognition and growth within our industry, developing new opportunities in assigned regions or selected market sectors and meeting quarterly and annual bookings targets.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Business Development

  • Implement account strategies with defined customer base.
  • Collect and construct market/account intelligence data.
  • Use established relationships with partners to further develop the customer base.
  • Present ATS global capabilities to diverse customer audiences
  • Assist with various company strategic initiatives.

Sales

  • Initiate and then lead customer dialogue for identified opportunities.
  • Achieve sales objectives within the context set by the VP, Sales.
  • Conduct meetings at customer facilities, centered in NA but sometimes globally.
  • Collect customer requirements and generate product feature definition/recommendation.
  • Determine and document project requirements for internal stakeholders
  • Interface with a number of ATS divisions to address customer requirements
  • Drive opportunities through to close.
  • Maintain customer relationships at various customer levels
  • Conduct legal negotiations according to ATS policies and procedures.
  • The Account Manager will operate within the guidelines prescribed by the corporation.

Forecasting and Budget

  • Develop order/bookings forecasts as requested using the Salesforce CRM system
  • Operate within the Sales Plan and operating budget parameters defined by the VP, Sales.
  • Report on performance using the formats, schedule and requirements defined by the VP, Sales.

Miscellaneous

  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or postsecondary education in engineering or technology.

Experience:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills, representing the company's longterm business requirements on multiyear contracts.
  • Technical proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective verbal, written, and communication skills.

Salary:
$40,030.64-$40,396.52 per year
