This Instrumentation role is on site working two weeks in, two weeks out, 11 hr daysThe key responsibilities are:
- Ensuring all instrumentation work taken by them are completed in a safe manner, abiding by all safety program requirements.
- Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and calibrating instrumentation installations.
- Verifying installation, wiring, and terminations of control panels, instrumentation junction boxes, and field instruments.
- Identifying and documenting deficiencies. Provide input and follow up on deficiencies to make sure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.
- Completing defined commissioning documentation (e.g. check sheets, ITPs and test reports).
- Recording final and accurate asbuilt/asleft conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation.
- Participating in commissioning team meetings including, without limitation, daily toolbox, safety, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Salary:
Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:
- Journeyperson status as an instrumentation mechanic or technician
- Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment
- Hands on experience in commissioning and start up activities
- Proficient computer skills
- Safety certificate is preferred
- Previous experience in a nuclear facility is considered an asset
- Must be able to carry liability insurance
