The opportunity


This is an exciting opportunity to work within an Agile Kanban Business Analytics squad in an organization that has unique touch points across the Group Benefits business.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their data, metrics, KPI or insights needs
  • Become the data owner & primary administration support for the internal CRM tool from a data integrity and user maintenance perspective
  • Ability to interact with business on explaining analytics solution and presenting analytics insights.
  • Maintain/enhance our PowerBI and SSRS/SSIS Solutions
  • Support/investigate complex SSIS/Python packages that transform data
  • Actively engaged in the agile development cycle for infrastructure/analytics items from a data testing perspective
  • Providing direction to selfservice Power BI reports and responding to adhoc data requests
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to the business and management. Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and nontechnical resources

What we are looking for

  • 35+ Years of work experience in related fields
  • Undergraduate degree in Math, Stats, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with multidimensional and relational databases
  • Solid working knowledge of data processing tools using SQL, Spark, Python or similar open source and commercial technologies
  • Advanced working knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau, both as a user and developer.
  • Experience initializing and managing cloud platforms: AWS, Azure etc.
Significant experience with SQL, Stored Procedures and ETL processes using SSIS and other data extraction tools

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to the business and management. Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and nontechnical resources
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of visualization BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau.
  • Practical experience with big data processing frameworks and techniques such as Azure, AWS, Hortonworks, Spark, Hive etc.
  • Ability to interact with business on explaining analytics solution and presenting analytics insights.
  • Capable of adapting quickly, manage multiple demands and competing priorities, deliver to deadlines

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between
$58,100.00 CAD - $107,900.00 CAD
