Snow Plow Operator - Whitby, Canada - MLG Landscaping Ltd.

Description

Duties:

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal requests
• Safely navigate and maneuver the snow plow vehicle to effectively clear snow and ice
• Spread salt or other deicing materials as needed to ensure safe conditions
• Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning

Qualifications:

• Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Experience operating snow plow equipment or similar heavy machinery
• Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

This position may require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
