  • This is a 12 month temporary/contract position.
  • The work location for this role is flexible across Canada.
  • For internal employees: This role is eligible for a 1000$ referral bonus.
  • This position primarily works with majority nonfrancophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential nonFrench duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Farm Insurance can be categorized as a specialized insurance product that provides coverage to farmers against natural disasters, liability claims and other insurance needs.

It provides a peace of mind to farmers that they will be able to recover financially from unexpected events.

Working in Farm insurance offers exposures to gain more knowledge about agriculture and play a crucial role in supporting our farm industry.

In addition, you will be equipped with a breath of knowledge about farm insurance that becomes highly valued in the insurance sector.


As the Product Owner for Property and Casualty (P&C) Manufacturing you will work as part of an agile team to represent the needs and desires of the stakeholder community.

You will provide clarity on solution details and be responsible for maintaining a prioritized list of work items required of the team to deliver business value.

You will also have the opportunity learn more about the different risks on the farm industry such as production, price, financial to name a few and the impact this has on our economy/industry.


How you will create impact:


  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve product issues and create seamless integration.
  • Partnering with management to provide leadership and prioritize work for the team to ensure capabilities are in scope, on time and of high quality.
  • Serving as the primary source of information for the team, delivering details of the items and offering clear definitions of the expected capability, the intended value to the customer and all acceptance criteria.
  • Representing the department by owning issues, forming solutions and defining outcomes to effectively deliver on the roadmap.

To join our team:


  • You have five years of experience in P&C Manufacturing and experience working in an agile environment.
  • You have a postsecondary degree in Business, Commerce, Information Technology (IT) or Marketing.
  • You have or are working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • Having the Disciplined Agile certification and strong working knowledge of software development, Jira and Confluence software would be an asset.
  • You have strong knowledge of insurance products, services and systems.
  • Passion to gain exposure to a niche insurance market and help be part of a team that crafts unique insurance solutions based on the evolving market needs.

What you need to know:


  • You will travel occasionally.
