We are currently accepting resumes for
Full-Time Product Runner/ Chill Box Operator -
Afternoon Shift:(2:45PM-11:15PM) for our meat processing facility located in Waterloo, Ontario.

Job Summary

The Product Runner/ Chill Box Operator is responsible for ensuring that all slicing lines, slicers, and Packaging lines have a constant and steady flow of product from the Quick Chill boxes, scanning system and scaling room.

Position Summary

Ensure all slicing lines, slicing rooms do not run out of product on the line.
Organize, scale, scan, and temper products to run on Slicing / Packaging lines in a timely manner.
Sort product as required.
Prepare and transfer product to production room for further processing
Scan products into ERP System
Chill product in the Chill Box until appropriate temperature is reached before delivering it to the line.
Work in conjunction with the Product Runner and the Slicer Operator to determine the correct flow of product to ensure line consistency
Perform inventory of the coolers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the Packaging Supervisor.
Assist Product Runner to organize the cooler to ensure accurate location of the product.
Communicate with Lead Hand and Supervisors regarding any potential quality concerns or mechanical issues.
Ensure the appropriate product is ready for the next shift.
Responsible for maintaining food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Possess a strong communication skills; written and verbal
Must be able to lift 60 Lbs.
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Must possess a high level of attention to detail
Knowledge and experience of safe food processing practices
Intermediate math skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proven ability to multitask.
