The Role
OncologyEducation, a Think Research company, is looking for an Events Assistant who will be responsible for registration, administrative services, and event preparations (in-person and online) for global events.
Events & Engagement Manager, work closely with the VP of Marketing, as well as the content marketing, events, and product marketing teams.
You Will Have The Opportunity To:
- Assist the events team with a high number of events, ranging from roundtables, webinars to large flagship events
- Support the events manager with logístical and administrative support
- Research event (tradeshow & webinars) sponsorship opportunities
- Manage event details including paperwork, scheduling, updating our database, shipping event materials, communicating with faculty and vendors
- Assist with creative decisions
- Attend all events to assist in event day operations
- Adhoc duties at events including, but not limited to, event set up/tear down, registration, managing event staff, coordinating with facility staff
- Help to prepare and execute events efficiently from launch to completion
- Ensure all items for events arrive on time
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of administrative/event experience
- Postsecondary education. Administrative Assistant Certificate or Event Management Certificate preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Selfstarter with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner.
- Knowledge and experience in using including (but not limited to): GSuite, SalesForce, Zoom, Wordpress, Survey Monkey, MSOffice
