RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, lead and oversee the team needed to meet the data demands of the project
- Overseeing and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping, and transfer
- Reviewing gaps and proposing a solution for data migration and archival during the solution design phase
- Oversee and ensure the production of a mapping matrix for all data
- Oversee and ensure a gap analysis for any missing or archived data
- Accountable for defining, documenting, communicating, operating, and stabilization of all relevant data integration and transfer processes.
- Oversee visualization and reporting of archived data to satisfy business needs and data retention policies for healthcare organizations
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- University Degree or College diploma in Computer Sciences or related discipline preferred
- Certifications in ITIL
EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable experience in managing data warehouse and BI domain.
- Must have 10+ years of working experience in IT environment with sound knowledge of data management and analytics.
- Must have 10+ years of experience with MS BI Stack (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SSMS)
- Experience managing/coordinating 3rd party consultants
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases
- Experience with health care data and terminology in a hospital setting
- Project management experience preferred
- Proven management of data migration projects
- Strong knowledge of database administration
- A mastery of Business Intelligence concepts and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience managing data warehouse and reporting infrastructure to help scale reporting needs while maintaining a highperformance environment for reporting
- Understanding of reporting and business intelligence best practices
- Indepth knowledge and understanding of data governance best practices in a health care setting
