Technician Support - Canada - GFL Environmental Inc.
Description
The Class 1 Driver will be relied upon to visit various client sites to collect and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
The driver will be required to load and unload trucks/trailers.As a professional driver with a safe driving record, you will utilize TDG knowledge and or training to assist with labeling containers and preparing transport documentation.
Professionally represent GFL on all client sites.Participate in safety meetings, last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments.
Valid Class 1 Driver's License with Air Brakes and a clean Commercial Driving Abstract.
Skid Steer Experience an Asset (Certificate).
TDG knowledge and experience is an asset but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
Overtime as Required.
