What can I expect to do in this role?:


In this role, you will:

  • review electronic documents submitted by applicants and conduct a comparative analysis against program criteria to make quality recommendations
- contribute to the overall achievement of program objectives by consistently meeting monthly productivity targets in a high-volume processing environment
- use your detail-oriented nature to spot sensitive or potentially fraudulent information that may impact the integrity and credibility of the program
- identify and communicate emerging trends using a risk-based approach
- provide expertise to meaningfully contribute to the continuous improvement of the program's operational policies, procedures and processes


How do I qualify?:


Mandatory:


  • You must possess oral and written French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.(Only a requirement for the designated position)

Technical Knowledge:


  • You have knowledge of political, social or economic issues in the labour market as they affect program objectives to inform the assessment of an applicant's eligibility for nomination

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:


  • You are able to conduct the assessment and analysis within the context of a risk management lens to identify inconsistencies and other factors that might indicate potential contraventions of the Ontario Immigration Act or other applicable legislation

Organizational Skills:


  • You are able to plan, organize and prioritize your workload in accordance with established procedures
  • You demonstrate the ability to work independently to establish your own priorities in order to consistently meet productivity goals

Communication Skills:


Relationship Building Skills:


  • You have strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively on project teams and contribute to the development of program policy and operational procedures
