Job title:
Retail IT Project Manager with POS experience

6+ months long term contract position

Location:
Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3 days) - Mandate

Max Rate:
CAD $70/hr. on INC.

10+ years required
10+ years' experience as a Project Manager with 5 years as PM in the retail sector.

Omnichannel and order management notions.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key clients such as store managers, advertising agencies, and manufacturers.

Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of merchandise.

Ability to bridge the technology gap between business users and internal or 3rd party developers.

Experience with Retail POS.

POS knowledge and roll out project management experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills.

Efficient content capture - ability to capture content accurately & consistently, particularly business process maps.

Partnering - ability to build productive working relationships with key stakeholders & work effectively across multiple teams.

People orientated - understands how people go through changes and the change process

Problem solver with root cause identification skills.

Active listening skills and strong influencing skills.

Professional and positive approach.

Good collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Salary:
$65.00-$70.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M9L 2R7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Project management: 10 years (required)
  • POS: 5 years (preferred)
  • Retail management: 8 years (preferred)
