Position Summary
The Night Houseperson will ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms upheld at the Loden Luxury Standards.

This position must provide the highest level of service to guests and team members and requires a thorough knowledge of the Hotel's premises, policies, and standards of excellence.


Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain calm, professional appearance with positive attitude and is adaptable and flexible
  • Possess great attention for detail and work well under pressure in a fastpaced hotel environment
  • Able to work independently or with the team and always following Loden Luxury standards and safe work practices as per Work Safe BC
  • Demonstrate teamwork with all departments, including support with overseeing events, and group billing reconciliation
  • Able to organize their working day to finish all check lists which includes daily checks of public areas and heart of the house areas, responding to Room experience requests and guest requests, properly follows lost and found guidelines and assist to department head with any projects.
  • Keep ongoing communication with Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager regarding supplies levels on the floors needed for daytoday operations
  • Document and report any maintenance or housekeeping deficiencies to Assistant the Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Manager
  • Attend required departmental or hotel general meetings
  • Able finish daily tasks list independently and always following Loden Luxury Service standards during the daily shift
  • Has good communication skills and can communicate professionally with guests, colleagues, and leaders
  • Able use and operate housekeeping tools properly and efficiently and assist with training rest of housekeeping team
  • Other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Hotel experience is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Be patient, helpful, and interested in the welfare of the guests and staff
  • Be organized and able to prioritize workload
  • Use great attention for detail and work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Good communication skills and is able to communicate professionally with guests, colleagues, and leaders
  • Upbeat, polished, professional, positive, and outgoing individual able to relate and interact with all levels of staff and guests.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment, able to multitask and meet deadline/cut off when needed with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Is able to stand, lift, pull and push the equipment and tools during the shift
  • Is able to use the work tools properly and efficiently
  • Able to work and be available nights, weekends, holidays, and evenings as per operational needs
