Job Description:

Purpose and Scope:

Must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies.

Must become familiar and work with SPS, 5S and CI activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working with maintenance and engineering on machine breakdown analysis
Ability to read and understand CNC equipment drawings (mechanical and some electrical)
Organize and order necessary spare parts as required
Adjust minimum/maximum levels for spare parts based on lead time, time between failures, and number of machines using common parts
Update parts inventory for more efficient tracking of common parts between machines
Read and understand service manuals and PM recommendations for CNC machining equipment

Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:

Relevant programs related to mechanical or maintenance studies, or equivalent experience and/or industry certifications
Strong mechanical knowledge is considered an asset
Computer skills are considered an asset
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, inside and outside the organization
Able to work well independently or in a team environment
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
