Job Description:


Purpose and Scope:


Must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies.

Must become familiar and work with SPS, 5S and CI activities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working with maintenance and engineering on machine breakdown analysis
  • Ability to read and understand CNC equipment drawings (mechanical and some electrical)
  • Organize and order necessary spare parts as required
  • Adjust minimum/maximum levels for spare parts based on lead time, time between failures, and number of machines using common parts
  • Update parts inventory for more efficient tracking of common parts between machines
  • Read and understand service manuals and PM recommendations for CNC machining equipment

Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:

  • Relevant programs related to mechanical or maintenance studies, or equivalent experience and/or industry certifications
  • Strong mechanical knowledge is considered an asset
  • Computer skills are considered an asset
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, inside and outside the organization
  • Able to work well independently or in a team environment
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
