POSITION:
Assessor (CLBPT) - On-call


DEPARTMENT:
Employment, Language, and Social Enterprise


Possible locations:

  • Surrey***Abbotsford
  • Vancouver

POSITION FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for conducting and scoring clients' assessments in Listening, Speaking,
Reading, and Writing for CLBPT (Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test) at Surrey

  • Scott
Road and Abbotsford. Some assessments may also be available at our Vancouver location on
Commercial Drive, as well as online.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • CLBPT Assessor Certification*(*Please note that assessors must already hold their certification prior to being considered for
this position.)

  • A recognized university degree in English, Linguistics, or similar field.
  • TESL training recognized by TESL Canada.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults.
**Job Skills and Ability: - Completely fluent in all English skills.

  • Must have strong technology skills and be computerliterate.
  • Possess superior timemanagement skills
  • Culturally aware and respectful to all clients and colleagues
  • Reliable and trustworthy

HOURS:
On-call, Weekdays, Weekends, and Evenings


PAY:
$ 31.00 per hour
