About the Role


The Dean's office Program Assistant is a key member of the Dean's office team and Faculty of Education staff, and works in close collaboration to support the work of the dean's office, executive and senior administrative leadership.

By supporting the Faculty, staff and University goals and values, the Program Assistant helps to create a positive and productive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, excellence, and a culture of continuous learning.


The Program Assistant provides administrative support to the executive and senior administrative leaders in the Faculty of Education by through a variety of tasks including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars; scheduling meetings, developing and distributing agendas, taking minutes; planning and coordinating guest visits; assisting with the preparation of reports, letters and general or confidential correspondence; creating, reviewing, archiving and maintaining electronic and paper based files and records.

The PA acts as representative for the Faculty and the institution by presenting a professional and positive manner in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrates a commitment to excellence at work by maintaining open and effective communication.

Works collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives, and contributes to a positive and supportive team work environment.
