GENERAL LABOURER
Job Overview
The General Labourer will provide general labour support at a remote exploration camp on a rotational basis of approximately 2 weeks on site and 1-2 weeks of leave.
Responsibilities
The Camp Labourer will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks to provide assistance and support for other camp departments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the geological department with drill core processing
- Core cutting with a diamond saw
- Bagging and organizing core samples to be shipped to a lab
- Other general camp labour duties
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to lift fifty pounds (50 lbs)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Selfdriven with a work ethic to go beyond what is expected
- Training will be provided however prior experience with geoteching and core processing is an asset.
- This position is available to start immediatley.
