THE PROGRAM:


Procurement and Supply Division (PSD) is a division of closely related branches within Supply Services BC that provide a wide range of services including office products and protocol/giftware, forms management, procurement support, intellectual property management, printing, publishing, procurement, mail services, surplus asset disposal and redistribution, and light vehicle fleet management.

Digital Publishing Services offer public sector organizations affordable digital publishing services, including design, build, hosting and maintaining a fully searchable, secure website where clients can instantly access all mission-critical reference materials.


THE POSITION:


The Systems Analyst collaboratively assists in design, implementation and maintenance of systems and networks which provide the services offered by the Digital Publishing Group.

The position assists the Senior Systems Analyst in needs analysis, planning, implementation, operation, maintenance and evolution of digital publishing technology and datasets that meet the business needs of customers.

The position assists with risk assessments, systems security, off-site storage and overseeing support for all workstations and servers.


Job Requirements:

Education/Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience in implementing technical and business solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent tasks and priorities.
  • Experience participating in project teams on technical projects.
  • Experience adhering to standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Experience with hardware and software implementation, support, and maintenance.

About this Position:

This is a temporary opportunity until 07/31/2024. This opportunity may be extended or become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent and/or temporary vacancies across the Ministry of Citizens' Services.
