Description

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Renal Technician will perform daily routine functions relating to haemodialysis.

Qualifications include:

Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
A postsecondary degree or diploma in a recognized Dialysis Technician Certification Program or in a related field (i.e. Life Sciences, Engineering Technology, Nursing) or equivalent experience in the field required.
Current certification in Basic Lifesaver, Basic Rescue Level C, or Heart Saver Plus issued by St. Joseph's Health Centre.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and communicates fluently and effectively in the English language, both verbal and written skills.
Knowledge of basic supply processing and distribution functions associated with the nursing unit.
Good attendance record.
