Responsibilities
- Conducting orientations, and entrance and exit interviews, by corporate, provincial Ministry, federal, and other agency guidelines
- Responding to inquiries and research and resolves problems related to transactions handled by the unit; serves as liaison with other constituencies in the resolution of daytoday administrative and operational issues
- Providing information, in person, on the telephone, and through digital platforms, to students, prospective students, and families regarding student financial aid, admissions, College account balance, and registration status
- Serves as liaison with provincial, federal, and other agencies; keeps abreast of student assistance opportunities and program regulations
- Oversee the collection, management, and reporting of data by the objectives of the position; participates in the development and implementation of data management systems and procedures, as appropriate
- Implement, coordinate, and oversee one or more specific administrative programs and/or service areas, as assigned
- Trains and serves as an operational resource to other staff and/or students, as appropriate; may supervise student employees or lowerlevel staff
- Conduct workshops and/or presentations to students, parents, and/or other interested parties on financial aid policy and procedural issues
- Participate in committee readings for scholarship selection and academic progress appeals
- Provide academic advisement and crisis intervention referrals; arrange for tutorial support, as necessary
- Updating student profiles as necessary to ensure that all information is accurate and up to date
- The EMPLOYEE's role involves decisionmaking relative to operations and student needs, as well as to interdepartmental requirements; as such, the EMPLOYEE must be adept at exercising good judgment
- Remain up to date on all new courses, policies and processes to deliver the highest level of customer service to clients and students to ensure our clients' and students' satisfaction
- Enforcing all Academy of Learning Career College policies fairly, consistently, and immediately
- Presenting a professional appearance and friendly demeanour at all times
Qualifications for the position:
- Postsecondary education in business or finance from an accredited educational institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience within the Private Career College industry is an asset
- Strong orientation towards highvolume, fastpaced, timesensitive business operations
- Successful in maintaining exemplary customer service levels
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work independently within a team environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$46,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
