Planner - Abitibi Region
The Planner is in charge of ensuring smooth daily operations in an efficient and well-organized manner. They oversee employee training and compliance with all assigned policies and procedures, aiming to deliver top-notch service and establish long-lasting customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to prepare quotes for products and services for both internal and external customers
  • Assist in reducing Work in Progress (WIP) in coordination with managers and supervisors
  • Create and update project schedules based on progress
  • Conduct HR and Health & Safety orientation for new hires
  • Coordinate setup in M3 and oversee new hire monitoring
  • Manage PSD policies and procedures, including service requests and reports
  • Ensure that service reports are properly attached and organized when requesting work order closures
  • Cultivate positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Support internal training documentation efforts
  • Aid in tracking PSD service clothing and essential tools internally
  • Assist in managing the employee-related cost segment of the service variance
  • Review flight expenses and ensure correct allocation to respective work orders
  • Direct customer calls to the relevant technical service advisor
  • Help managers and supervisors with daily tasks
  • Assist in parts procurement and shipping to customer sites
  • Initiate service requests (SRF)
  • Update SRFs as needed
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Technicians

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Service Technician or equivalent

INTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Epiroc Service Protocols and procedures
  • A collaborative team player capable of supporting all departments within Epiroc

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes
  • Thorough understanding of Epiroc Products
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
