Department Overview

TD Technology Delivery covers planning and delivery of projects or services within segment CIO groups. While investing heavily in nurturing business, client and partner relationships for endtoend delivery of technology solutions or services, these professionals also oversee and directly manage multiple specialized functional teams (e.g. Application Development, Solutions Designers, Business Systems Analysts, Support, Project Management etc.) and seamlessly manage ongoing infrastructure support and shared services to segment CIOs, business leaders and various TD stakeholders. Let's not forget they communicate the technology organization's overall book of work and manage stakeholder expectations. It's a big and busy mandate. There's room to grow in all of it.
Supports in the development of technical solutions that adhere to enterprise architectural and technology delivery principles. Provides extensive development experience in end to end execution of product team solutions. Partners with business, project management and technology groups to effectively communicate technology decisions and drive business results, ensuring alignment with the organization's operating model, technology roadmap and approach, and enterprise architecture/technologies
Work closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure solution meets requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals, ensuring all risks and impacts are considered
Leverage technology expertise to support in the creation and delivery of endtoend technical solutions and help to support driving business outcomes
Act as an expert to ensure compliance with enterprise and segment standards (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets)
Monitor and contribute to the incident escalation process; work with projects managers and business partners as needed to efficiently and effectively resolve
Identify opportunities to minimize and reduce costs in collaboration with TAO; Identify appropriate solutions and support the deployment of innovative product and software solutions
Work closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet technical direction, requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals, ensuring all risks and impacts are considered
Leverage deep technology expertise to support in the creation and delivery of endtoend technical solutions and help to support business outcomes
Act as lead expert to ensure compliance with enterprise and segment standards (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets)
Monitor and manage incident escalation process; work with project managers and business partners as needed to efficiently and effectively resolve
Identify and implement opportunities to minimize and reduce costs in collaboration with TAO; identify appropriate solutions and support the deployment of innovative product and software solutions
Collaborate with partners and project teams on software quality assurance reviews
Execute on strategic solution planning activities or POC
Protect the interests of the organization identify and manage risks, and escalate nonstandard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
Proactively identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions for building more robust platform domains
Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promote service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques
Keep others informed and uptodate about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to daytoday activities
Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders to develop productive working relationships.

Act as a brand ambassador for the bank, both internally and/or externally

Job Requirements

Technology Degree
7+ years of development and technology delivery experience with Agile Delivery Experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of experience in technology domains, including understanding of inhouse and thirdparty architecture integration
Advance experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline
Works independently with mínimal guidance leading the technical solutions for their respective pod
Acts as a SME resource for colleagues with less experience
Solves complex problems; takes a n
