As a member of the Communications & Public Affairs (C&PA) Thought Leadership team, you will support the production of research and business-focused communications content while coordinating the public-facing CIBC Thought Leadership platform.
Specifically, you will work with writers, researchers, graphic designers and other business communications specialists to assist and coordinate the production of content, while ensuring that materials are uploaded and accessible on the Thought Leadership website.
- At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 13 days per week onsite, while other days will be remote._
- Strategic Communications
- Understand how to convert business strategy into engaging content for an external business audience to help execute CIBC's Thought Leadership strategy. Translate and integrate complex ideas simply and effectively through storytelling and communications strategies. Work with teams across the bank to develop new, engaging content to further their business strategies.
- Relationship Management and Business Acumen
- Confident working with colleagues and external stakeholders, ability to manage relationships across the organization with proven ability to build strong working partnerships focused on outcomes. Knowledge of financial services and the Canadian business sector is an asset.
- You have solid experience in communicating with external audiences through a broad range of platforms, including using WordPress or other web content management systems. You have experience with external communications to help you make recommendations and deliver strong tactical execution of key materials.
- You can write compelling communications clearly and concisely, and demonstrate excellent editing and proofreading skills. It's an asset if you have experience in and/or knowledge of banking and its diversified client segments.
- It's an asset if you're fluent in French. Having French drafting and proofing skills would be advantageous in this role.
