Currently Technica is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing team as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Mine Development.
There are open positions available in our shop setting or on the beat, both will assist our maintenance team in their efforts to maintain and progress our long term, local development projects in various locations in Sudbury, Ontario.
Support local projects across our Sudbury, Ontario work sites.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures of motorized equipment
Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure work meets manufacturers specifications
421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Journey Person Candidate or;
~ Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician or;
~ Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician
~ Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002, & U00012) or equivalent provincial designation is preferred
~ Minimum of five (5) years' underground experience is preferred
~ Strong technical aptitude to use digital platforms used for work orders, email, etc.
~ Rotation; 5-5-4, days and nights
