Description
Visionpool Business Services is hiring a PART TIME REMOTE Project Manager.

The majority of the work is related to project management but there may be minimum need for business systems analysis skills to help with validation of business requirements that were completed previously.

This is approximately a 6 month contract however it may be extended.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Draft a Project Initiation Document (PID), project schedule, issues and risk logs.
  • Gather and develop a core project team including definition of roles with assistance from IS staff. With the assistance of IS staff develop and gather an advisory group which will have representatives from Faculties and major administrative units.
  • With the project team & advisory group collate questions for a survey to gather feedback.
  • Plan and conduct kick-off meetings with participating vendors and project team.
  • Plan, facilitate and document all project meetings and conference calls.
  • Obtain sign off of all deliverables.
  • Monitor and communicate project status that includes project status updates, scope, and issue and risk management.
  • Any concerns with project team member availability in achieving the project deliverable(s) deadline should be addressed immediately.
  • Initiate project closure including lessons learned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years project Management experience
PMP Certification
