Job Summary:


As the Technical Delivery Manager for the Mobility on Demand team you are responsible for managing a team of front-line project implementation consultants and ensuring they are able to successfully implement our solutions to meet our customers objectives on time, on budget, within scope and with quality.


Job Description:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the MoD implementation team to achieve financial, operational, and customer satisfaction targets and metrics.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and influencing the team to take proactive action and accountability for their work.
  • Create and implement professional development plans to improve the skills of your team.
  • Support the preparation of the Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR), report progress to the business, and be accountable for achieving the forecasted results.
  • Drive Results and implement process improvements to maximize team efficiency. Ensure that best practices are being documented and adopted by your team.
  • Report on project risks, issues, opportunities, and their associated strategies.
  • Ensure the team is optimally allocated to meet project demands by effectively managing team resources.
  • Lead, guide, and support your team through project escalations.
  • Develop a staffing plan for the team designed to support strong yearly growth.
  • Work directly with Sales to support sales opportunities, developing associated Statements of Work and pricing.
  • Work closely with Product and Development to identify product solutions to meet customer requirements as well as manage the priority of the PS development queue.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Ability for travel of up to 25% within North America.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, planning, engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in software solution delivery.
  • Preferred experience in people management.
  • Preferred experience in a technical role (i.e. technical implementation experience).
  • Preferred experience with Trapeze software solutions.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong leadership, mentorship, critical thinking, and problem solving skills are required.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead a team through organizational change management is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of agile, waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies and scope management is critical.
  • Superior command of written English and a proven track record of producing quality documentation is mandatory.
  • The ability to effectively manage customer or internal escalations is required.
  • Selfmotivational drive and the ability to initiate and manage activities independently and in a team environment.
  • Be able to perform effectively in a deadlineoriented work environment and to successfully execute many tasks simultaneously.
